About Charge Travel

Free calculators for people who drive an electric car on a long trip: how many charging stops, how long they take and what they cost, from the car and the prices you enter. It is arithmetic on your numbers, not a route planner and not a map of chargers.

Who runs this site

Charge Travel (charge.travel) is operated by Anderson Gomes Ferreira. contato@charge.travel

How it works

Everything runs in your browser: what you type is not sent to our servers (details in the Privacy Policy).

Energy needed is distance divided by the efficiency you enter. Stops follow from your battery, start charge, reserve and the level you charge to. Cost is the energy billed times the price you type. Prices are never filled in for you.

Charging time uses two simple settings, full power up to 80% and half of it above. They are a rule of thumb, shown beside the number and editable, because the real curve is different for every car and charger and we found no open source for it.

Connector types, charging levels and the reference prices come from open sources we opened on October 11, 2026, with the link and date beside each figure. What we could not confirm is marked "not confirmed".

Where the data and rules come from

How we keep the content up to date

Each figure shows its source and the date the page was opened (October 11, 2026). What could not be confirmed in an open source appears as "not confirmed"; market habits appear as "rule of thumb".

What this site is not

Results are estimates from your inputs. Real charging time and range change with speed, temperature, hills, the charger and the battery. The site has no map, no list of chargers and no live prices; check your car maker's navigation or the charging network before you rely on a stop.
